Meet The Owner
Founder Felisha L. Burr is a career nurse and fashion taste maker by trade. She found her passion for healthcare working in group homes as a Direct Support Professional in 2012. This newfound passion quickly shaped into a career as she became a CNA in 2013.
With 4 years of infield healthcare experience in 2017, she decided to take her journey to the next level and entered nursing school. Graduating in 2019 with her Associates in nursing she went headfirst back into the field as Licensed Vocational Nurse and has been practicing ever since.
Felisha has always been fashion forward; Always looking for unique pieces, predicting trends and even being the go-to stylist amongst her friends. 10 years into the industry she could not help but notice that most scrubs were bland, tacky and/or unflattering in general.
Professional Luxury Scrubs was founded in November 2021 out of Felisha’s determination to create comfortable, trendy, and fashionable scrubs and accessories. With ProLux Scrubs, professionals now can make a statement in the workplace as well as perform their job more confidently. Felisha believes “Healthcare professionals deserve a work wardrobe they can feel confident and look good wearing.”
